Quality Building Award: Driving Value and Recognition through Thought Leadership

Overview
The Quality Building Award (QBA) is a biennial industry programme that celebrates and offers public recognition to buildings that embody excellence.

Co-founded in 2002 by nine of Hong Kong’s leading professional institutions, the project was an “off-brand” and on a much smaller scale. QBA wanted to raise its brand awareness and gain the recognition as one of the most important industry awards.

Strategy
CCG worked with the QBA leadership team to completely revamp their communications strategy, building a new and integrated approach targeting both offline and online platforms. In the midst of significant communications overhauls, the launch of an annual theme and design visuals, and aggressive media outreach, the team worked strategically to capitalise on QBA’s unique insider view of the building profession and targeted tier-one journalists and influencers who would be covering the stories. CCG has also since created a series of buzz-worthy award events that deliver the desired brand messages.

MIPIM ASIA

Overview
MIPIM ASIA is an annual real estate investment summit, each year bringing together close to 800 business leaders and industry executives from across the world. With over 90 key speakers, the two-day summit is widely regarded as a must-attend event in the Asia-Pacific region.

Our Task and Strategy
CCG has served as the official press office for MIPIM Asia for over a decade, where we have engaged with various media with powerful key points to further amplify MIPIM ASIA’s presence. We have been the digital office for MIPIM Asia in recent years to engage industry leaders via social platforms, including Twitter and Facebook.

Qupital and Alibaba’s launch of innovative services for SME trades

Overview
Backed by Alibaba.com’s global B2B e-commerce platform, Qupital (Hong Kong’s first online invoice financing service provider) successfully launched its innovative services to help facilitate trade for SMEs. This collaboration came within a year after Qupital secured a seed investment round of USD 2 million from shareholders including Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund and MindWorks Ventures.

Karen Leung Foundation

Overview
The Karen Leung Foundation (KLF) www.karenleungfoundation.org is a local organization working to save lives in Hong Kong by raising awareness of gynecological cancer, educating women to increase rates of early detection and ensuring that women in treatment have access to optimal medical care. KLF engaged CCG’s help in 2020 to expand the reach to a wider audience by primarily focusing on branding through Chinese top-tier media.

Our Task and Strategy
CCG effectively promoted KLF and its key campaign in 2020, the Extraordinary Exhibition, featuring the work of outstanding female artists, to main Chinese media. With an aim to promote the key concept of “Self-Love” among women at large, the campaign and mission of KLF was well-received.

Achievements and Results
After achieving the first badge of overwhelming media coverage on artists’ perspectives on Self-Love and also KLF’s key missions, CCG also works for the continuation of the “Self-Love” series in 2021.
